In its 3rd Volume, Almanaque Kitembo – Quadrinhos Afrofuturistas (En: Afrofuturist Comics) offers our readers many new features, including the participation of more artists and more stories, 14 in total. An Afrofuturist comics gathering never seen before in Brazil and perhaps in the world!!!

The Afrofuturist gathering here is diverse, with artists from various regions of Brazil, bringing to these pages the diversity of Brazilian Black identities, as well as a variety of techniques, styles, and aesthetic, artistic, and political propositions. Ambitiously, this volume of the almanac continues its intention of being a safe space for Black comic artists from across the country.
